“ We went to Brass wok on Saturday without a reservation and they gladly accepted us but our table was next to the kitchen so not the perfect ambience. However they were really accommodating for making the dishes vegetarian for us as we dont eat meat. We got the spring rolls, pad thai and red curry with Jasmin rice. The spring rolls were a lil greasy However really tasty and the dipping sauce was amazing too. The pad thai was one of the best pad thai's i have had in a very long time. And the red curry was something that I am gonna keep dreaming of having again and again. It was so good that I will recommend everyone to go and try. They are doing a fabulous job with the flavors of food. ”
“ Fortunate enough to try a new Thai Resto during one of our cold December days drive in Calgary NW. We used to be expats in Bangkok so we have higher expectations in terms of our Thai exposed palettes and this place did not disappoint. I loved everything from the staff’s warm welcome by Tai,to wonderful service by Coreen— The fresh summer rolls, tom yum gung,Tom ka gai, beef musaman, green curry — all delicious!!! I had higher hopes for my usual fave PadThai due to what I’ve read in the reviews and thought it needed a little tweaking because of a funny after taste due to the marinated chicken used & they were quite receptive to the suggestions. Taste wise and presentation? very good, delicious, authentic! Plus one has options on the spiciness preferences for the not as adventurous in terms of the real Thai cuisine experience. Very friendly staff & great service as well. Perhaps a little more Buddhas or Thai decors to add a little bit more to the ambience as interiors were minimal however, that did not change our total dining experience. Met the owner Joy and told her about what “Joy” eating there brought us. I just wish we had more tummy space for dessert. Thanks Brass Wok. We will definitely be back to try all your other exciting dishes! -Rose & Henrik (Canmore) ”
“ Great little Thai restaurant! Our server was very friendly and prompt. Atmosphere was well decorated and clean. The food was delicious! We ordered a mix of curries, stir fry, and pad Thai to share and each was fantastic. The portions were good sizes with lots of meat and veggies. Gluten free options are available, but not the peanut sauce. Our server was very helpful in ensuring meal was gluten free for our celiac diner. Be careful with spice levels, this is true Thai spicy (not “Canadian spicy”) ”
“ Discover DELICIOUS @ the Brass Wok in YYC. On the tip of Kensington. Take three friends, add an amazing cozy venue, and then spice it up with a fabulous menu. Thai at its best! Chrysanthemum hits the spot! ”
“ We loved it! Even on Christmas Eve the staff was very cheerful and served us quite quickly. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, and most importantly the food was delicious! Our favourites were the Cashew Chicken and Yellow Curry. No complaints. ”
“ Finally, a Thai restaurant that makes me feel like I'm eating in Thailand. All the vegetables were perfectly cooked, not overdone, not underdone. Every flavor was unique and different. The service was impeccable, and I am feeling so happy right now. They were even able to accommodate the fact that I wanted gluten free and vegetarian! ”
“ Delicious, authentic flavours, correctly spiced (we asked for medium heat), good portions, and beautifully presented. We especially loved the sa-te and peanut sauce, Pad Thai and jungle beef. There were two other tables near us who were returned diners. The staff were friendly and decor minimal. We will definitely be returning to try the other dishes. Returned and had the Penang chicken curry, drunken noodles, fried rice and candied banana dessert. Once again, delicious. ”
“ The food and atmosphere was exquisite. The preparation was meticulous and well presented. The flavors were wonderful. I’m celiac and they catered to my dietary restrictions. We will come back for sure!! ”
